About Great Beginnings Bunbury
Welcome to Great Beginnings Bunbury. We're ideally located for families in East Bunbury, South Bunbury, Carey Park, College Grove, Gelorup, Dalyellup, Davenport and Usher.
Our Long Daycare and Kindergarten Centre provides early education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.
At Great Beginnings Bunbury, we provide convenient, full care coverage from 9hr, 10hr or full days, 5 days per week, including school holidays. Our service extends to also offer Before and After school care for children aged 5- 12 years.
Our longstanding dedicated team of Teachers and Educators provide a safe, nurturing, and inspiring learning environment - where your child can thrive, and be their wonderful self, every day.
Getting school ready? We offer the 4-year-old Government-approved Kindergarten program that helps ensure your child has a successful transition to formal schooling.
We offer a great variety of learning experiences at Great Beginnings Bunbury including:
- Community Engagement Program: Encourages children to interact with and discover their local community. We often have visits from community services, and we go out on adventures to teach the children about their local environment.
- Music & Movement Program: Designed to develop fundamental skills that help support children’s self-regulation, memory, and concentration. Children learn to appreciate and develop an understanding of music - and of course, have fun.
- Real life experiences: Children participate in fun and exciting experiences such as woodworking, harvesting the veggie garden, caring for our worm farm and early cooking skills.

Unstable management and constantly changing staff. It's almost impossible to get an account query fairly resolved. Any escalations to head office are ignored and you're left holding the can for their incompetent management. Trust at your own risk

****EDIT**** I would like to add that since the response of the owner no staff whatsoever from great beginnings have attempted to contact me at all. I am writing this on the 29th of January 2022.****** After having been informed by staff that I could not apply for holiday care for my son until Friday the 26/11/2021, due to that being the date they email out the necessary forms, I kept an eye on my email all morning. Having not received an email from them I called them 3 times to get them to re-send it to me. It was only when I went in at 2:10pm that they were willing to do it properly and ensure I received it. They then happily told me "four weeks of the holidays are booked out" (which is so useful when going to work depends on holiday child care). The impression I get is that due to the very high demand for child care in the area that there really is no incentive for decent customer service. If ones not happy well there are plenty in line to replace them. Also cheerful staff does not mean they actually care.
