About Gowrie Docklands Kindergarten
Gowrie Docklands Kindergarten is home to one of the few kindergarten co-located with a school in inner city Melbourne.
A community built on belonging. With around 95% of children from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. We celebrate our cultural diversity every day by integrating home languages into our programs, and creating real opportunities for connection.
Wraparound support for every family. On-site Maternal and Child Health checks, a clothes swap, and a free book program remove barriers and ensure every family feels genuinely welcomed and supported — work recognised through our nomination for ‘Outstanding Service’ at the 2025 HESTA Early Childhood Education and Care Awards.
A unique head start on school. Located within Docklands Primary School, children access school facilities, join a Buddy Program with primary school children, and can participate in private music lessons in piano, drums, and voice.
Gowrie Docklands Kindergarten is rated Exceeding under the National Quality Standards.
