Goodstart Early Learning Wonthella

Goodstart Wonthella provides quality childcare and early learning on Yamatji Country, conveniently located on the corner of Place Road and Flores Road, just an eight-minute drive from Geraldton town centre.

Our welcoming, inclusive centre supports children to learn, play and grow through child-led, play-based learning. Our experienced educators take the time to build strong relationships with every child, following their interests and supporting their individual strengths, confidence and curiosity.

One of the things that makes Goodstart Wonthella special is the consistency of our team. Four of our educators have been part of the centre for more than 10 years, providing familiar faces and trusted relationships for children and families. Our diverse community celebrates different cultures, identities and family backgrounds.

Our six learning spaces cater for children from Nursery through to Kindergarten, with environments designed to support each stage of children's development. Our Kindergarten program is led by two Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teachers, who provide engaging learning experiences that support children's growing independence, communication and transition to school.

As the only not-for-profit childcare provider in town, our focus is on investing in children, families and quality early learning. We offer convenient long day care from 6:30am to 6:30pm, as well as sessional options to help suit family routines.

We also provide opportunities for children to connect with their community through incursions, visitors and special experiences. Recent improvements include new flooring in our Pre-kindy and Kindergarten rooms and a new garden bed foundation at the front of the centre.

If you're looking for childcare in Wonthella or early learning near Geraldton, we'd love to welcome you for a tour.
