About Goodstart Early Learning Watsonia

Our beautiful Devonshire Road centre is now OPEN! To explore our facilities, meet the team, and discover how we support your child’s early learning journey, book a tour by emailing enrolments@goodstart.org.au.
Purpose-built to provide essential care for local families, our centre features six spacious, single-level learning areas leading directly to our outdoor play space. Each room has easy access to nature-inspired outdoor areas, including sensory gardens, mud kitchens, earth pits, dry creek beds, and two large sandpits. Our dedicated outdoor dining hub and onsite kitchen with child-height servery engage children in meal preparation.
Catering for children from six weeks to Kindergarten age, our programs align with the Early Years Learning Framework and are tailored to individual interests. Families can also enjoy our family lounge with complimentary tea and coffee during opening hours.
Meals are freshly prepared daily by our qualified chef in our commercial kitchen, including light breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, and late snacks.

My youngest has been at Goodstart Watsonia since not long after they opened and it has been a very positive experience. Every staff member we have interacted with has been kind, caring and genuinely interested in my son. It has been wonderful to watch him build special relationships with those involved in his care. Every time we drop him, it is a comfort to know the team is capable and will ensure he has a good day. Leadership have also been amazing from the very first tour to today, available and approachable and again, so genuine in their interactions. Thank you Natasha, Caitlyn and all of the team at Goodstart Watsonia.

Any brand-new centre comes with its own set of challenges as it establishes its community with new staff and children. But at Goodstart Watsonia, I am confident that the management team is not only experienced but also genuinely caring towards both the children and their team. As a parent working in a field with a strong focus on safety, I’m grateful to have found a community where I know my son is in safe hands. I trust his educators and the centre leaders, which gives many families, including mine, peace of mind and reassurance that can be hard to find these days. We highly recommend Natasha and her team. The toddler team—Neisha, Zeina, Jacinta, Kim, Bianca —as well as the rest of the staff, are all wonderful. I cannot thank them enough for the care and love they provide to every child in their care.

We had the most amazing experience at Good Start Watsonia. My son joined mid year in the kindergarten room & I was worried about his transition to a new centre. The staff were so welcoming & made each step effortlessly easy. The facilities are all brand new & the center would be three times the size of our previous child care. Thank you to the centre manger (Natasha) & all the staff at Good Start Watsonia for providing exceptional care for my child.
