About Goodstart Early Learning Thornlie

Goodstart Thornlie is a warm and welcoming child care centre, conveniently located on a quiet cul-de-sac, close to local schools and amenities. Our team of dedicated educators provides high-quality care, supporting each child’s individual learning journey. We offer a wide variety of activities, including science, maths, art, and physical play, promoting both gender equality and cultural diversity throughout our programming.

Our Kindergarten and Pre-Kindergarten programs are led by two qualified Early Childhood Teachers, with multi-lingual educators sharing their languages and cultures to enrich the learning experience. Each room is thoughtfully set up in line with the Early Years Learning Framework, with a focus on sensory, play-based learning, helping children prepare for school.

Fresh, nutritious meals are prepared daily by our on-site cook, catering to all dietary needs, including Halal. We also support breastfeeding by offering dedicated spaces for mothers to feed their child during the day.

We work closely with families to meet each child's developmental and care needs, ensuring individualised learning goals. Outside, our age-appropriate play spaces foster environmental awareness and a sense of sustainability.

We are proud to be an active part of our local community and look forward to welcoming you to Goodstart Thornlie.

My two kids have been taken good care and spent a wonderful time here in the past few years.

Yesterday I attended with my group from Gateway Training Academy to observe what it will look like when we start our practical in early childhood education and care. This was only possible for us as Surinder the Centre Director was kind enough to give us a chance to see the service and routines for an hour and a half. The sign in at the front was easy to manage and Surinder ensured we all were following the services policies and procedures regarding the safeguarding of children. The service was beautiful! I will not forget how organised, yet thoroughly thought out and calming each room was! The children were very happy! As we interacted with them, they gave us a peak of what a secure and safe environment does for children in their day to day lives.Thank you Surinder and all the kind staff for helping us feel welcomed and answering our millions of questions.

It’s wonderful to hear how well organised and calming the environment was, and how happy the children appeared. We wish you all the best as you begin your practical journey in early childhood education and care!

Our daughter went to Goodstart Thornlie for almost 2 years and loved the experience. The educators were great and supported her well with her growth and development. The centre always organised fun and engaging activities for the kids to do including celebrating various culturally significant days. Would happily recommend the centre :)

We could not give this centre enough praise. We have sent both our boys here and have seen their confidence grow and learn so much! We could not fault this centre. The care is exceptional from admin staff, management and educators. Thank you Goodstart Thornlie from Luka and Ollie.
