Welcome to Goodstart Early Learning Maryborough, where children aged six weeks to five years are supported to learn, grow and thrive in a caring, inclusive environment.

Located in the heart of Maryborough on Butchulla Country, our centre welcomes families from all backgrounds. Our two-building layout provides age-appropriate learning environments, with a dedicated building and outdoor play yard for children under two and another for children aged two to kindergarten.

Our experienced educators take the time to build meaningful relationships with children and families, creating a strong sense of belonging. With four longstanding team members and many educators who have been with Goodstart for more than five years, our team values consistency, connection and collaboration.

Children's learning is guided by their interests, strengths and developmental needs. Through engaging, play-based experiences, educators encourage curiosity, creativity, communication and growing independence. Our programs draw on the Early Years Learning Framework, while our funded kindergarten program, led by bachelor-qualified teachers, helps children develop the skills and confidence they need for a positive transition to school.

We place children's safety, wellbeing and inclusion at the heart of everything we do. Occasional community visits and incursions, including visits from emergency services, library representatives, health professionals, entertainers and Elders, can help children explore the world beyond their everyday environment.

Conveniently located across the road from Maryborough State High School and Maryborough Central State School, and a two-minute drive from Station Square Shopping Centre, our centre makes early learning accessible for local families.
