Goodstart Early Learning Kangaroo Flat

Goodstart Kangaroo Flat is a warm, welcoming childcare and early learning centre on Dja Dja Wurrung Country, conveniently located on the corner of Church and View Streets, near Aldi and St Monica's Primary School.

Our smaller, family-focused centre provides personalised care and play-based learning from nursery through to kindergarten. With four dedicated learning environments, children are supported to explore their interests, build friendships and develop confidence at their own pace.

Our experienced team includes four longstanding educators who have been with us for 7–10 years, providing consistency, familiar faces and strong relationships with families. Additional educator support in our learning environments helps children develop emotional regulation, social skills and a sense of belonging.

Our kindergarten program is led by three Bachelor-qualified teachers who support children's school readiness through meaningful, child-led learning experiences. Children develop early literacy, numeracy, independence and practical life skills, including lunchbox routines, managing belongings and problem-solving.

Our four-year-old kindergarten children also enjoy Bush Kinder, where nature-based exploration encourages curiosity, resilience and confidence.

Families value our genuine care, strong community connections and commitment to understanding each child's individual needs. We work closely with families to create a nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported and excited to learn.
