About Goodstart Early Learning Hendra
Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Hendra is located in a quiet residential area close to schools, shops, and community amenities. We cater to children aged six weeks to five years, offering spacious facilities for families to explore and learn together.
Our team is proud of the strong, nurturing relationships we build with children and families, providing stability and continuity of care with long-standing educators. Our Early Childhood Teacher leads a comprehensive school readiness program as part of our government-funded Kindergarten. All educators hold qualifications in Children’s Services and are trained in first aid, asthma, and anaphylaxis care.
Our child-centred programs follow the Early Years Learning Framework and Emergent Curriculum, developed from the children’s interests. Families are encouraged to be actively involved, and we maintain close communication through our Storypark platform, family nights, and newsletters, ensuring we tailor programs to each child’s needs.
Outside, we have three play areas with sandpits, grass spaces, and a blend of natural and manmade equipment. We also provide fresh, nutritious meals prepared by our qualified cook, with input from families and educators.
Goodstart Hendra celebrates community with events such as Grandparent’s Day, family discos, and our Christmas party. We invite you to visit our centre and become part of the Goodstart Hendra family.

We have been associated with this daycare for the past 8 months and we are really happy that we have chosen the best one. Choosing a daycare is a crucial step for a child's happy and healthy development. After listening to a few stories from our friends we were a bit worried but after 8 months we can say that we have made the best decision. Centre director Michelle Pill is a person who is 100% involved and committed to taking care of our children. All the staff is well qualified and is driven by the same purpose, looking after our kids. I would like to give a few bullet points on the best things we have experienced so far, 1. My child did not speak any English before he joined the daycare but they looked after him so well that the transition was seamless. 2. The dietary requirements are looked after carefully. 3. Safety of the kids is prioritised. All these experiences make this daycare a 5* centre.

This center is the continuation of my home outside of it, where I have always felt welcomed and where my family receives support and attention in the essential matters of my daughters' growth and development. The staff is loving and in tune with the children's needs, and I can say, after 4 years side by side, that it is a center with an experienced staff that is always looking for improvements! I highly recommend their services and hope that the center receives the necessary attention from the head office so that the programs and the well-being of the staff are always prioritized, for the benefit of everyone in the community!

This is an incredibly caring and nurturing day care and kindy. We had two kids go through there and I could not have asked for more. Michelle leads from the top with compassion and genuine care. This is reflected by the wonderful carers who treat the children as their own. The low staff turnover is uncommon and shows that behind the scenes is the same as front of house. Thank you to all the beautiful GSH team for nurturing, caring and educating my little ones. We’ll miss you and be forever grateful.

My daughter (now 3 and a half) has been coming here since she was 6 months old and I cannot give Goodstart Hendra enough stars! Our son has just started this week and the team truly are an extension of our family. Every child is cared for so well by the fabulous team and the other parents in the centre are wonderful too. After visiting many centres, I’m glad I chose this one!
