We feel incredibly fortunate to have our little one enrolled at Goodstart Early Learning Hawthorne. The intimate size of the centre fosters a warm, family-like atmosphere where we feel confident in our little one's safety. The procedures for managing allergies are impressively thorough, and the staff have consistently reassured us of their ability to mitigate any risks. Our little one genuinely loves attending daycare and has formed positive connections with the educators. We are particularly impressed by the variety and quality of activities that the educators prepare. Their ability to seize spontaneous opportunities—like playing in the rain or building cubbies based on the children's interests—shows their commitment to nurturing creativity and engagement. We also appreciate how children are encouraged to be independent during meal times and nap times, teaching them invaluable life skills. Communication from the centre is excellent, and we feel well-informed about our little one's daily experiences through regular updates. Centre Director Kate and Assistant Director Kritika are always present, exuding friendliness and approachability, which adds to our sense of trust in the centre. Overall, we highly recommend Goodstart Early Learning Hawthorne for anyone seeking a nurturing and enriching environment for their child.

It's an easy 5 stars from me - my son joined the Goodstart Hawthorne family when he was 15 months old - he's just turned 5 & soon to graduate from this wonderful kindy to start prep next week. Kate (the director) and her wonderful team have nurtured, played & educated my son every step of the way. They've created a supportive environment where he's made great friendships, learned through fun games, and always felt cared for and safe. I couldn't be happier with the boy he's become - he'll be stepping into school like a boss & it's all thanks to this incredible team. Don't think twice about sending your child here- it will be one of the best decisions you make!

I am so grateful that we found Hawthorne Goodstart. Kate is the director and her team of professional and talented educators have been a great fit for our 2.5y.o daughter who is does 4-days a week in Senior Toddler. We moved to Brisbane from Sydney almost a year ago and I applied to several childcares in advance. Hawthorne Goodstart stood out as the best value for money - professional, hard-working, friendly, safe, good humour, and down-to-earth culture. I get the sense that there is something special about this particular goodstart centre. I hear stories about other Goodstarts in Brisbane that sound nothing like the high quality of care we get with Kate and her staff. The renovated chapel gives a warm homely feel and there is plenty of space indoors and outdoors as well as chickens. The educators know their stuff from the detailed posts on Story Park about their observations of your child and how they are tailoring your childs learning programs. The staff are very polite and appear to love their jobs which is a sign of good organisational culture. The other parents are also very kind and sociable with the odd get-togethers throughout the year. Highly recommend having a tour.
