About Goodstart Early Learning Douglas

Goodstart Douglas is an early learning childcare centre catering to children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. Educators lead a sensory and play-based curriculum which ensures the children learn in colourful and stimulating surroundings. The children are exposed to a unique learning environment to support them in having the best start in their early learning years.

Outside, there are three areas set up for the different age groups. The children can play in a mix of manmade and natural play surfaces, including a sensory path, bark pits, swings and a bike track. While enjoying the freedom of running, jumping and playing there is plenty of shade to protect them from the sun.

Indoors, age-specific rooms are filled with toys and resources to support the children's learning. Children are encouraged to explore the many activities and resources, including books and toys to help develop imagination and painting to tap into their creative side.

The centre is centrally located between the hospital and James Cook University Campus in Townsville. Shops and schools are also close, with good public transport access. There is a large car park with a dedicated drop-off zone to help with those busy times. Why not book a tour of this welcoming and community-minded centre today?
