We acknowledge your concerns regarding nappy changing and outdoor water play, and we regret that you have felt your concerns were not adequately addressed.<br><br>Water play is a regular part of our educational program and provides valuable opportunities for children to explore, learn and engage in sensory experiences. We aim to support children's interests while ensuring appropriate risk assessments and supervision are in place. Where a child chooses to continue engaging in water play during cooler weather, we offer warm water where appropriate, provide protective clothing such as art smocks to minimise clothing becoming wet, and ensure children are changed promptly into dry clothing if needed.<br><br>We recognise that each family's expectations and concerns are important. We are committed to working in partnership with families to ensure individual needs and preferences are respected, and we welcome ongoing conversations to review strategies that best support your child's wellbeing. We take concerns regarding hygiene and nappy changing very seriously. We have reviewed these practices with our educators and remain committed to maintaining the high standards of care that families expect.
