Goodstart Early Learning Blackwood

Goodstart Blackwood provides high-quality childcare and early learning for children from six weeks to school age in the leafy Adelaide Hills community of Blackwood. Conveniently located close to local schools, shops and community services, our welcoming centre is supported by a highly experienced and multicultural team.

Our long-standing educators have more than 140 years of combined experience in early childhood education and care, giving children the benefit of familiar faces, consistency and strong, trusting relationships. Our team includes three Bachelor-qualified teachers who support children's learning and development, including their transition to school through our Preschool program.

Children learn through play in engaging indoor environments and three age-appropriate outdoor areas, with opportunities to explore the large sandpit, climbing equipment and garden beds. Our child-led programs build on each child's individual interests, strengths and ideas, encouraging curiosity, independence, confidence and a lifelong love of learning.

We are proud of our multicultural community, with educators speaking languages including Punjabi, Mandarin, Italian, Hindi and Chinese. Strong local community connections also give children opportunities to develop a sense of belonging beyond the centre.

Families value our experienced educators, welcoming community, facilities and fresh, nutritious meals prepared onsite by our qualified cook. Meals, nappies, wipes, cot linen and sunscreen are provided, helping make busy mornings easier.
