Goodstart Early Learning Atwell

Such a warm, welcoming place for my children to spend their day. It is so obvious that the educators here genuinely care about nurturing and comforting the kids in their care. They are always so helpful and attentive with little ones who might be slower to warm up, and effortless engaging with the kids who don’t need as much help. It’s also just a lovely centre, you never walk in and hear babies crying endlessly for someone to comfort them, they’re already being held and tended to, all efforts being made to calm and soothe them. There is always so much imaginative play going on with the kindy kids even without a trendy nature playground, but all kids need anyway is the support and love from a carer, and they get that here tenfold.

As a worker and parent at Goodstart Atwell, I have been able to get an insight from a parents and workers perspective. As a worker, I was able to form bonds and get to know the educators well. I couldn't recommend each of the educators enough, the care and time they put into their rooms, and the nurture they show for each child is incredible. It's hard as a parent to leave your child, and the educators put my mind at ease and my son is in an amazing environment where he thrives. He LOVES his educators so much he's asked them to come to his birthday party and tells me (and them) how much he loves them! I have previously worked in Childcare for 7 years and my previous centre does not compare to Goodstart Atwell at all. I feel so valued and supported. The Centre Director has been so flexible and supportive, allowing me to change days to accommodate school events, when my children are sick or anything else may arise. All of the staff have a really amazing bond and are always willing to help or support you in anyway that you need them too. Being a smaller centre, there is a really ''family'' vibe, which I have loved. Although I am leaving to pursue another job, I feel so confident to have my children still attend the centre and would rather the 30 minute back-to-back travel time then to find a centre closer to home. Cannot thank or recommend the Goodstart Atwell team enough.

Dear Tanya & The Goodstart Atwell Team, The day has finally arrived when we must say goodbye to this wonderful center that has played such an integral role in the lives of our two beautiful children, Derik and Zarah. It feels surreal to be writing this, knowing that today marks the last day for our little Zarah, who is now almost 4.5 years old, a far cry from the 8-month-old who first walked through the doors of Goodstart. For over seven years, your center has truly been our second home, a place where we felt our children were cared for and loved as if they were your own. The trust we have placed in you, and the bond we've felt with each of you, is something we will forever cherish. You have not just taken care of Derik and Zarah, but you have helped nurture them into the kind-hearted, curious, and confident children they are today. We are beyond grateful for the unwavering support we've had living in a community that offered such a warm and loving environment for our children. From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank each and every educator at Goodstart Atwell for your dedication, kindness, and for treating our children with such care and respect. Today is a bittersweet moment for us. Zazzu, our youngest, who has always been the center of attention at daycare, will certainly miss all of you dearly. While we are excited about the new adventures ahead, it’s hard to say goodbye to such an important part of our lives. Thank you for providing such exceptional care and service. We wish you and the entire team continued success and hope the center remains true to its humble values, making a lasting impact on the children who are lucky enough to walk through its doors.
