Giraffe Early Learning Centre Mosman

Giraffe Early Learning Centre’s have been an integral part of the Northern Beaches and Lower North Shore community for over 15 years. Starting in Mosman our first centre was opened repurposing a beautiful old heritage listed Church opposite Alan Border Oval.

At Giraffe Early learning Centre your child’s sense of belonging and safety is at the heart of our philosophy. We offer a generous transition period for you and your child where you can visit our centre up to 3 weeks prior to your official start date. Equally our transition to school program is integrated into our daily practice and aims to equip children with valuable life skills. We are fully air conditioned and our fully trained inhouse chef prepares all meals and snacks from scratch using fresh ingredients. 

We offer a variety of programs designed to aid in a range of developmental skills:

• Giraffe Learning Voices program: children learn Portugese from native speakers. They also take part in various other language based activities to help boost self-confidence, improve memory skills and build patience. 
• Giraffe Movers Academy: partaking in a new sport every quarter the children are exposed to a variety of ways to stay actives which will help foster a positive relationship with healthy lifestyle choices and improves gross motor development. 
• School Holiday Program: during school holiday periods we operate as normal expect for the added fun of a school holiday program which often includes water play and face paiting and fun with the centre’s jumping castles.
• Incursions: special guests come to the centre, such as Kinder Farm, Science and Indigenous education experiences.
