About First Grammar Ourimbah Long Daycare and Preschool
Welcome to First Grammar Ourimbah. We're ideally located for families in including Medowie, Lisarow, and Mount Elliot on the Central Coast.
Our Long Daycare and Preschool Centre provides early education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.
We provide convenient, full care coverage from 9hr, 10hr or full days, 5 days per week, including school holidays.
Our multicultural and dedicated team of Teachers and Educators provide a safe, nurturing, and inspiring learning environment - where your child can thrive, and be their wonderful self, every day.
Getting school ready? We offer the Government-approved Preschool program that helps ensure your child has a successful transition to formal schooling.
We offer a great variety of learning experiences at our Centre including:
- Sustainability Program: Helps children develop and understand the importance of embedding sustainable practices into everyday life. Children learn about recycling, conserving water, growing food and the importance of protecting our planet.
- Community Engagement Program: Encourages children to interact with and discover their local community. We often have visits from community services, and we go out on adventures to teach the children about their local environment.
- Music & Movement Program: Designed to develop fundamental skills that help support children’s self-regulation, memory, and concentration. Children learn to appreciate and develop an understanding of music - and of course, have fun.

Sending our child to First Grammar Ourimbah has been so reassuring as first time parents. Our baby has grown and developed so many skills since starting there, she is thriving, confident and absolutely loves going. She gets excited each morning to see her teachers which is a true testament to how she feels about being at the centre. The weekly planning for the children’s development, timely updates of the app and the journal entries recounting her day helps us feel involved while we are at work. The staff are friendly and caring, and observing them with the kids is such a joy. We are so grateful to send our baby to such a wonderful centre!

First Grammar Ourimbah is the best childcare/preeschool at Ourimbah. I would give them 100 start! My 2 kids love first grammar and love their educators. The Director, Sarah and all the educators are so lovely and really care about all the kids. They are always doing different activities and they always send updates of their day through the app and photos. I really trust them and feel so much peace when I know my kids are with them. The chef is very nice as well and always making yummy food.

Excellent center, great educators with lots of energy. The kids are always doing lots of fun activities and love going every time.

✅ Amazing service ✅ Terrific staff ✅ Great child development program I couldn't recommend First Grammar Ourimbah high enough for their commitment to child development and care - here you will everything you would expect in a 5 🌟 early childhood education service including all meals, a large range of age-appropriate toys, challenging climbing equipment, a spacious outdoor area for play and large individual areas for babies/toddlers and preschoolers all with the supervision of high quality Educators with vast experience and refined skills.
