I cannot speak highly enough of First Grammar Hammondville! From the moment my daughter Mariam started there—when she was less than one year old—they made the transition incredibly smooth for both of us. The entire team is not only professional but genuinely loving, caring, and considerate. It was clear from day one that they don’t just do a job—they pour their hearts into every child. Every staff member, even those who weren't Mariam’s direct carers, knew her name and treated her with warmth and affection. The atmosphere feels like a close-knit family, and that kind of connection is rare to find. The centre truly caters to each child’s individual needs, and the care and attention they provide gave me peace of mind every day. The food is another story—my husband and I used to race to drop Mariam off so we wouldn't miss the snacks and coffee! A special thank you to Emma-Rose (the wonderful manager), Khurshida, Harprit, Layal, Pramond, Liza, Elaine, and Courtney and literally everyone there…your kindness, patience, and love made all the difference. Unfortunately, we had to leave due to moving out of the area, and it was such an emotional farewell. I honestly don’t think we’ll ever find another centre quite like First Grammar Hammondville. If I could choose all over again, I’d choose them every single time. And if we ever move back anywhere near the area, we’ll definitely return without a second thought. I’ll be recommending them to everyone I know who’s looking for a second home for their children… We will miss you all.. Mariam sends her kisses to everyone

As a mum of a little boy with global developmental delay, my journey through childcare has been anything but easy. Isaac isn’t talking yet, and like many children with additional needs, he requires patience, understanding, and support. We’ve changed childcare three times due to challenges that arose, and believe it or not, I visited over 35 centres in search of the right one — a place where my son would feel safe, nurtured, and loved, and where I, as a parent, would feel supported. Finding First Grammar Hammondville has been a true blessing. From day one, Miss Emma (the Centre Manager) has been incredibly compassionate, responsive, and understanding. Every concern I’ve had has been genuinely heard and followed up on. That alone already made a huge difference. But it doesn’t stop there — every educator I’ve met, from Mr. Back to the amazing Miss Harmeet, has gone above and beyond to learn about Isaac and support his needs. Miss Harmeet, in particular, has shown such care, effort, and commitment that it fills my heart with gratitude. Even after moving to a new suburb far away, I continue to drive some times over an hour each way just to bring Isaac to this centre — that’s how much it means to us. Because when you find a place where your child is not just cared for, but truly seen, understood, and embraced — you hold onto it. What moves me the most is seeing how everyone at the centre, even staff who aren’t directly involved with Isaac’s room, know his name, greet him with warmth, and treat him with so much kindness. The other children also welcome him joyfully. It’s such a special environment — full of patience, respect, and inclusion. As a parent of a child with special needs, it’s hard to explain how much peace it brings to know that your child is in good hands — that the people caring for him are not just doing a job, but are genuinely invested in his wellbeing. It’s one less thing for me to worry about in an already overwhelming journey. Thank you, First Grammar Hammondville, for supporting us. For making Isaac feel like he belongs. And yes — thank you as well for the yummy morning snacks too. My husband wants to drop my son off just so that he can get some 😅 We’re beyond grateful! Thank you! Jazmin Carolina & Isaac
