Welcome to First Grammar Freshwater! Our child care and early education centre in Cairns serves families in Freshwater, Barron, Kamerunga, Redlynch, and Stratford. Our outdoor environment features natural trees and grass, sandpits, vegetable gardens, cubby houses, climbing forts, and more to engage all the senses, allowing children to immerse themselves in nature. Our indoor spaces create a homely atmosphere with our play-based environments,  carefully designed to cater to the various developmental stages of your child.

Our resource-rich learning environments promote curiosity and exploration, with both children and teachers growing and learning together. Our educators and teachers create strong connections with children and families and view early education as an extension of home learning. We pride ourselves on collaborative partnerships with families and provide daily updates and photos through an easy-to-use parent app.

Exploring the community is an integral part of our program. We arrange visits from local firefighters, police officers, and Brave Hearts to expand children's learning experiences. Weekly excursions to the local park, tennis court, and garden centre allow children to enjoy their community surroundings.
