About Explorers Early Learning - Mt Cottrell
Explorers Early Learning is a locally owned and operated early learning service providing high-quality early childhood education, Kindergarten, and care for children aged six weeks to school age.
Through their Reggio Emilia inspired curriculum, children are encouraged to play and explore, laying a strong foundation for lifelong learning. Their experienced Educators work closely with families and the wider community to ensure each child’s individual needs are met. Additionally, Explorers offer an integrated, Government-funded Kindergarten program to prepare children for the next step in their education journey.
All Explorers Centre are designed to be welcoming and inspiring spaces, with beautiful classrooms, central piazzas, and landscaped outdoor areas. Importantly, a key focus has been placed on indoor and outdoor spaces with sustainability in mind.

I joined Explorer Early Learning centre, Mt Cottrell four months ago, and I have thoroughly enjoyed my journey so far. From the beginning, I found that the centre’s philosophy aligns perfectly with my own teaching beliefs. The focus on the Reggio Emilia approach which sees children as capable , competent learners, resonate deeply with me . This alignment has given me the opportunity to implement my teaching philosophy effectively, creating meaningful and engaging learning experiences for the children. During my last placement Bachelor of early childhood education, I had the privilege of learning from my mentor Lisa, who played a pivotal role in shaping my understanding of inclusive and child centred teaching practices. That experienced enriched my professional growth and prepared me to embrace my current role at Explorers with confidence. I have been fortunate to work under a management team- Dani, Oz, Alicia that is incredibly supportive.Their commitment to upholding high standards in early education inspired me every day.
