About Explorers Early Learning - Ashwood

Explorers Early Learning is a locally owned and operated early learning service providing high-quality early childhood education, Kindergarten, and care for children aged six weeks to school age.

Through their Reggio Emilia inspired curriculum, children are encouraged to play and explore, laying a strong foundation for lifelong learning. Their experienced Educators work closely with families and the wider community to ensure each child’s individual needs are met. Additionally, Explorers offer an integrated, Government-funded Kindergarten program to prepare children for the next step in their education journey.

All Explorers Centre are designed to be welcoming and inspiring spaces, with beautiful classrooms, central piazzas, and landscaped outdoor areas. Importantly, a key focus has been placed on indoor and outdoor spaces with sustainability in mind.

I remember when I first went to look at childcare centres for my then one year old- I had looked at 2 others prior to EEL and I cried when I walked out of them, called my husband and said I can’t leave him in a place like that- one was so small with so little stimulation in sight and the other was well sized but absolute chaos that looked as if the kids ran the place themselves. Explorers Ashwood hadn’t opened yet when I toured it but I felt an immediate relief when I walked in. My son started on opening day around 2 years ago now and I have never been disappointed. The Reggio Emilia approach to learning has been amazing for his development both intellectually and personally. The staff are always so competent and warm, and their updates and end of term/end of year reports are always so thorough and insightful. I feel comfort in knowing I’m never concerned when he’s there as I know he’s in such a clean, warm and welcoming environment. Couldn’t recommend enough- Thank you 🫶🏻
