About Eden Academy Elwood
Welcome to Elwood!
Elwoodhis newly opened in April 2021, operating from 7am – 6:30pm 5 days a week (excluding public holidays). It is close to Ripponlea train station, Ormond Road shopping street, has Elwood Primary and St Kilda Primary schools within 5 minutes drive, and provides on site parking for parents in the underground car park.
Our Centre is bright and welcoming, with lots of natural light filling our specifically designed learning spaces. With tasteful colour and natural materials used throughout the Centre, families have said that it truly feels like a child’s dream room. Parents love the many purposfully built outdoor areas, which are accessible for all children within the Centre.
Our educators and leadership team create a calm and nurturing environment for all children and families.
The Elwood Nest has 3 large outdoor play areas, two on the ground level and one on the roof top where the children have sandpits, sports equipment, bikes, water play activities (on warmer days) slides, cubby houses and creative activities to explore.

Programs
- To commence shortly will be Bush Kinder, regular excursions and various other inclusions, including yoga and mindfulness and art lessons.
- Our daily program offers art experiences and mindfulness practices with the opportunity to participate in cooking experiences with our inhouse chef.
- All incursions and excursions such as botanical gardens, toy library, art program and music program are included in the daily fee.

Such a wonderful environment, with an amazing team! We feel so confident and at ease leaving our son at Eden Academy, he is cared for and his educators are so informative and warm. The whole progress from application to enrolment was handled so well and we felt very much part of the Eden family. It’s a big centre but you are by no means just a number to them.
