When this childcare first opened, we had really high hopes. My son attended soon after they opened early 2024 but our experience was extremely poor, so we decided to unenrol him. At the time, I gave them the benefit of the doubt, thinking it was a new centre that just needed time to get everything together. Almost a year later, after having a meeting to discuss our concerns, we decided to give them another chance and re-enrolled our son. Unfortunately, it was the same issues all over again – very poorly managed, serious safety concerns, lack of precautions, and no genuine effort to prevent repeated incidents. My son had multiple injuries, mostly around his eyes, and each time I was told the same excuse: “he’s very active, he lost his balance and fell.” Putting the blame on a 2 year old with zero accountability and responsibility from their end. These incidents kept happening, which shows a clear lack of supervision and preventive action. I was getting a phone call almost daily. On top of this, communication from staff was poor, incident reports were inconsistent, and in some cases the explanations were not truthful. One day I got a call to report an incident that my son fell and another kid fell on top of him with his “mouth open”!!! When i picked him there was a clear teeth bite mark on my son’s forehead! There was no real accountability, and our concerns were never taken seriously. We have permanently withdrawn our son, and I feel it’s important to share this experience so other parents can make informed decisions.
