East Brunswick Kindergarten

Wominjeka is closely equivalent to “Welcome” in the Woiwurrung language of the Wurundjeri people, whose lands are where their Centre now stands.

East Brunswick Kindergarten offer a range of high quality early learning programs for children aged 3-6 years, including;

Sessional, state-subsidised 4 year old Kindergarten programs (15 hours per week)

Early learning programs for 3 year olds

Long day care for 3-6 year olds

The primary aim of their programs are to recognise the value of children's play in the learning process and to recognise that each child will develop and learn in their own way and at their own pace. Emphasis is placed on creativity and the learning process rather than on the end product, with particular recognition of the child’s need for space, time, materials, adult support and guidance. Their programs are carefully planned, based on observations, needs and interests of individual children and of the group.
