About Day One Early Learning Centre - Deception Bay Campus
For children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, Day One Early Learning Deception Bay offers a warm and encouraging environment. The nurturing educators build strong relationships with the children and their families, gently guiding them through a holistic early learning curriculum. As a home-away-from-home, the educators prioritise the children’s emotional well-being so they feel safe and happy to embrace their learning.
The light and bright classrooms are decorated with the children’s artwork. The rooms are filled with natural resources to inspire the children’s creativity and cater to different learning styles and needs. They are all well-equipped to engage the children’s senses and ensure their unique interests are met.

The staff themselves are incredible and they are great with the children. I have found the management to be challenging a lot during the course of my child’s enrolment, take that as you will. The first director when my child went there was amazing and was willing to work with us and find a plan that helped everyone manage but now since new management, not only myself but others have complained about how they’re doing things with the parents and there hasn’t been any change, just stressing parents out non stop.

My daughter enjoys coming here before school and after school she has loved making slime and toffee and is always happy to suggest ideas to do in the afternoon 😊

Since my granddaughter changed centres and started at Day One Deception Bay, she is a different child. She is happy and full of chatter when she comes home. The staff are approachable and are willing to listen to parents. She is also being catered to for her dietary requirements. Whilst this centre had been through some tough times, it's great to see they are working hard at changing.I have also heard parents talk about the OSHC program is a much more settled environment than it used to be.
