As someone who attended to this child care centre, I feel compelled to express my deep disappointment and revulsion towards the staff members. Given my personal experience coping with a speech impediment during my childhood, my emotional response was often shown through my reactions. yet, it was really obvious that I had an intense fear of dolls. Despite this knowledge, the staff members resorted to making jokes and deriving amusement from my distress by playfully CHASING me with a doll, resulting in YELLING and CRYING. This distressing scenario would happen whenever I was dropped off at this center!. I recall occasions when playing with play dough, as the staff members would intentionally intimidate me with a doll. Everytime I tried playing with an object, one of the staff members would intentionally bring the Doll out so they can “play” with me as well, I was practically forced to play on the carpet with safety scissors as there was no other option. There was many children who exhibited fear towards dolls, they would be force (as a punishment) to sleep with a doll. This only happen if they misbehave during nap time. That’s just disgusting As an adult, I still struggle to comprehend why would any adult want to do that to young children, to such distressing experiences. It is my sincere hope that the staff members can cultivate a greater sense of respect and empathy. Learn some respect.
