About Cubs Corner
Welcome to Cubs Corner!
Cubs Corner is a great place to begin your child’s education. Our brand new Early Learning Centre is conveniently located at 216 Cowlishaw St, Greenway.
The Centre will open from 7am – 6pm Monday to Friday. Cubs Corner will close between Christmas and New Year’s Day, as well as public holidays.
All are welcome
Cubs Corner welcomes all children up to six years old. Our dedicated team of educators are experts in early education and care, and would love to have the opportunity to work with families and the local community as their children develop.
Program
At Cubs Corner, we are committed to providing a developmental and educational program which caters for each child’s individual needs, abilities, and interests. Our program will continue to develop each and every day, as we build relationships with the children and their families. We strive to work on our partnerships with the local community and families to ensure each child’s knowledge, ideas, culture, abilities and interests are the foundation of our programs.
Throughout all age groups our educators refer to and use the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) as the basis of the curriculum.
“Fundamental to the Framework is a view of children’s lives as characterised by belonging, being and becoming. From before birth children are connected to family, community, culture and place. Their earliest development and learning take place through these relationships, particularly within families, who are children’s first and most influential educators. As children participate in everyday life, they develop interests and construct their own identities and understandings of the world (EYLF pg. 7)”

We work closely with all children and parents to foster a supportive and positive environment. We like to think of Cubs Corner as an extension of your home, and questions are welcome at any time.

As parents, educators and carers, we believe it’s our responsibility to guide children towards sound food habits. At Cubs Corner, we teach the children about healthy eating and help them develop positive eating habits.
Our menu is developed with feedback from the children and families. We encourage families to share their favourite recipes from home, and do everything we can to incorporate these into our menus. All recipes are available for families to try at home, please ask our friendly Chef for a copy to take home.
