About Community Kids Pascoe Vale Early Education Centre
Welcome to Community Kids Pascoe Vale! We're ideally located for families in Pascoe Vale, Pascoe Vale South, Strathmore, Essendon, and Coburg North. Our centre isn’t accessible directly from Bell Street. Anderson Street and Magdalen Street behind our centre would bring you up the One-Way Service Road (which is on Bell Street) and to our car park and entry.
Our Long Daycare and Kindergarten Centre provides early education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.
At Community Kids Pascoe Vale, we provide convenient, full care coverage from 9hr, 10hr or full days, 5 days per week, including school holidays.
Our longstanding team of Teachers and Educators provide a safe, nurturing, and inspiring learning environment - where your child can thrive, and be their wonderful self, every day.
Getting school ready? We offer the 3 and 4-year-old Government-approved Kindergarten program that helps ensure your child has a successful transition to formal schooling.
We offer a variety of learning experiences at our Centre including:
- Sustainability Program: “Resource Smart in Early Childhood” – we have received a fully funded grant (From Merri-Bek council) to achieve this standard through consultancy and professional development, to take action to minimise waste, save energy and water, promote biodiversity and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
- Community Engagement Program: Encourages children to interact with and discover their local community. We often have visits from community services, and we go out on adventures to teach the children about their local environment.
- Music & Movement Program: Designed to develop fundamental skills that help support children’s self-regulation, memory, and concentration. Children learn to appreciate and develop an understanding of music - and of course, have fun.

We started sending our daughter here 3 months ago and it was her first time into daycare at the age of 2. So we were both hesitant to how she would settle in. Gemma and her team have done an absolutely fantastic job, walking us through the entire process. Our daughter has blossomed and looks forward to going and I put this down to the staff here. They have been so friendly, nurturing, professional and do such an excellent job. Thanks to the entire team at the center.

Community Kids Pascoe Vale has been part of our villiage for raising our kids for 4 years, and I can't recommend them highly enough. Gemma and the team are so supportive, and the long term tenure of the staff is testament to how good of a centre they are. From supporting my babies when they were first starting out and struggling with separation, to helping my kinder kid learn the ways of the world, I'm so glad we chose community kids.

We have had a great experience with Community kids pascoe vale since we started sending our toddler here earlier this year. It was our first time sending her to childcare and they were very reassuring. She took a while to settle in but they were very flexible, let me stay and play with her for as long as she needed, brainstormed ideas to help her settle in and set up play areas with things she liked to do. The educators are great, very caring and communicative.

Community Kids Pascoe Vale has been the perfect start to early education for our little one. I chose the centre initially as it was small, homely and had longstanding educators. I know there are lots of new, multi-story child-care facilities going up in the area but the care provided has been second to none. Our little one feels safe and learns something new every day.
