About Clyde North YMCA Early Learning Centre
Welcome to Clyde North YMCA Early Learning Centre, our early learning programs give your child a great start to life.
The Y has provided care for young people across Australia for over 20 years and has industry-leading safeguarding polices in place; so, you can be assured that your child will be cared for in a safe environment.
We're committed to reaching your child's potential and our programs encourage children to be curious, confident and independent thinkers, who love learning and improving their capabilities. As a not-for-profit organisation, we are committed to supporting children and families and we achieve this by creating strong relationships with parents, guardians and communities.
Our Early Learning Programs include:
- Nappies and linen
- Healthy meals and snacks throughout the day
- Shaded outdoor play areas (sunscreen is provided for all children)
- Long opening hours - 6:30am to 6:30pm
- Regular incursions and excursions
Our centre is located on the grounds of Wilandra Rise Primary School in Clyde North, which gives us unique opportunities to develop school-readiness. It also offers parents a convenient one drop-off and pick-up location for children of all ages.

Couldn't be more happier with YMCA Clyde North. My son started daycare here in February this year. Thanks to the lovely educators, he adjusted well very quickly. He loves going in every morning and that shows the positive impact the educators had on him. We are happy that he is in safe hands and is well looked after. Cannot recommend them enough.

I’ve had a generally positive experience with this centre, but I’m really concerned about a recent hire — an educator named Tenae. I have had experience with her in the past and unfortunately, her attitude and approach have been noticeably unprofessional and not in line with the supportive and nurturing environment I expect from a childcare provider. Whether it’s how she communicates or handles situations with children and parents, it’s been disappointing to see such a shift. I hope the centre seriously considers how this impacts the kids and the wider community.
