C&K Salisbury Community Kindergarten

At Salisbury Kindergarten we offer an indoor/outdoor, developing play based program which follows the interests and situations which attract and engage children. Our program is built upon, and supported by, the Building Waterfalls curriculum framework.

Our Kindergarten environment is built around large, open spaces which provides opportunities for multiple modes of teaching experiences. These spaces are established to facilitate both moments of intentional teaching and spontaneous incidental teaching.

We believe children are innately capable and competent and come to us with a wealth of knowledge and experience. Our role is to encourage children to extend their relationships, knowledge, competencies and curiosity through our engagements, environments, experiences and partnerships with families so that children are excited about learning and physically, emotionally, socially and competently prepared for the transition to school.

The kindergarten offers a 2 long days per week programme.

Beginning of the Week: Monday and Tuesday.
End of the Week: Thursday and Friday.
