About C&K Flagstone Community Kindergarten

At our kindy, your child will feel safe, make friends and belong. We have an open natural learning environment where the children explore, investigate, and extend their learning.

Our experienced and passionate educators foster close relationships with families, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment. They focus on nurturing your child's curiosity, building their resilience and developing their confidence - all through the joy of learning through play. We operate during QLD school terms and are closed for school holidays, public holidays and some pupil free days.

Kindy is FREE for eligible-age children (those turning 4 by 30 June, in the year they attend kindy) for 15 hours per week for 40 weeks (up to a maximum of 600 hours a year).

I'm a retired kindergarten teacher with over 30 years in early childhood education, and now I get to watch my grandchild attend C&K Flagstone Kindergarten as a grandparent. Honestly, it warms my heart every time I walk in. What I love most is how long the staff have been there. So many of them have built their whole careers at C&K Flagstone, and you can feel it. They genuinely know these children, not just their names, but their special personalities and quirks. And I notice the little things too, the way they get down on the children's level, follow their lead, and turn everyday moments into real learning. After a career of seeing all kinds of centres, I know good practice when I see it, and this is the real thing, not just something dressed up for show. No wonder they hold an Exceeding rating. That's not easy to earn, and it's clearly deserved. But really, as a grandparent, it just comes down to this: my grandchild is happy, safe, and loved there. That's everything. Couldn't recommend C&K Flagstone Kindergarten more. ❤️
