About C&K Coolangatta Community Kindergarten
At C&K Coolangatta Community Kindergarten, your child will feel safe, make friends and belong. We have an open natural learning environment where the children explore, investigate, and extend their learning.
Our experienced and passionate educators foster close relationships with families, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment. They focus on nurturing your child's curiosity, building their resilience and developing their confidence - all through the joy of learning through play. Our program has close links with Coolangatta State School to ensure a smooth and successful transition into prep. Each week the children attend the school library and throughout the course of the year attend other functions so that they become familiar with the school environment and staff.
At C&K Coolangatta we have two kindy groups to choose from. All groups ensure children receive the same number of hours of education across the year. The groups have a maximum of 22 children and are led by an experienced and qualified early childhood teacher. We operate during QLD school terms and are closed for school holidays, public holidays and some pupil free days.
C&K Coolangatta is located on Miles Road, Coolangatta, a short drive off the Gold Coast Highway on the Coolangatta State School grounds.

My Daughter has been attending this center since beginning of this year, when I Lucky got a spot for her there. After moving from Sydney and not knowing which Kindy and childcare to go to I finally got a email from Cheryl, who to my surprise answer the phone while was schools holidays and I wasn’t aware of it. Since day one, my daughter was very comfortable with the teachers as we have gone through difficulty on finding a good Kindy for her. I could notice my daughter’s behavior switch in a positive way since starting at C& K Coolangatta. Cheryl and her team work together to the best care and develop of every child under their care. They do care about the services they are providing and you won’t probably get any better care that this place. It really feels like a big family. Thank you Cheryl, Lisa and Alisha for the amazing time we have at the center. We will miss you.
