All I can say is thank God my child started kindy this year as I don't think I could put up with this centre and management any further. I don't even know where to start! Things began some what ok there, not great, but ok and got progressively worse. The daily updates you get on what they did for the day and what they ate and how much are totally false! And I'll tell you why. I always questioned my child's intake as I know how fussy of an eater he was and apparently he ate all the food he was presented everyday?? This is how they were caught out, not once, but twice, as I let the first time go. I got updates on his food intake on days he wasn't even there?? He apparently ate everything, but wasn't even there?? My son also said that for the food he did eat, they never put enough and he'd ask for more as he was still hungry and he'd by told no and he'd have to wait until later. That is so cruel! When you try and address it with the owner, she's very dismissive and basically tells you it never happened or made up an excuse. As a business owner, if a parent is trying to address something with you, hear them out and take action, don't just dismiss. I would also always witness very young children crying their absolute hearts out while the educators just continue their little gossip circles. When I say cry, I mean uncontrollable cries where all they need is a cuddle just to settle them. But no, these poor little ones were just left in this state. And as I said, the educators just never bat an eyelid. I also saw on numerous occasions these little ones with such full nappies, it was clearly evident by the way you could see it sagging off their bottom, they were that full! I could go on and on, but if your thinking of enrolling your child here at children's world, save your child from this environment. Also I might add, most of the postive reviews on this page, are from their own staff!! ****edited after your recent response**** contact you????? I did on multiple occasions throughout our time with you and you dismissed every concern and made up excuses for everything??? So why would I re-contact you now that we've left your pathetic business Miss S?? You want to show the Google world you take all concerns and complaints serious, yet did nothing at the times I addressed them with you. Too funny!!

Response from the owner26 days ago

Update: It has been a week since this review was posted, and we have not yet been contacted by you directly. Given the details provided, we feel this review may not accurately represent a genuine experience. Nevertheless, we have completed an initial audit of our digital records, and all documentation is accurate and in compliance with our policies. Regarding your concerns about food intake in the preschool room, we promote independence and choice, encouraging children to self-serve from a variety of nutritious options prepared by our onsite cook. Our records accurately reflect when a child has eaten all their food due to the wide variety of choices and the self-serve option provided. Additionally, during the last term before transitioning to kindergarten, children are invited to bring a packed lunch from home, supplemented by our provided meals. At no point is any child denied food if they request more. Concerning your observation about nappies, we have strict policies and procedures in place to ensure nappies are regularly changed, and each change is documented. It is extremely uncommon for preschool-aged children to still be in nappies at our centre. Furthermore, while some parents in the younger aged rooms have requested less frequent changes, we maintain our standards in alignment with regulatory requirements and best practices. ***** Hi there, Thank you for getting in touch. We are deeply sorry to hear that you had a negative experience and sincerely apologise for not meeting your expectations. We take all customer feedback seriously. Please provide your full name to enquiries@childrensworld.com.au and we will get in contact with you to discuss your concerns. Kind regards
