Cannon Hill Community Kindergarten

Cannon Hill Kindy is affiliated with Lady Gowrie, and as a Not-For-Profit community kindergarten, we are very focussed on supporting our families and local community in our nurturing and welcoming environment. Our centre is rated as Exceeding National Quality Standards and we are located at the corner of Imperial Avenue and Princess Streets in the quiet backstreets of Cannon Hill, and have been educating generations of local children for 60 years.

The eligible age for children to attend our Queensland Government-subsidised approved Kindergarten program is aged 4 by 30 June in the year they attend.  Our Kindy Purple group attends every Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday from 8.45am till 2.45pm.  Our Kindy Green group attends every Thursday and Friday from 8.00am - 4.00pm. Each class has only 22 children, only runs during Queensland State School terms, and is led by a Director / qualified Early Childhood Teacher who has been with our Kindy for around 40 years, and an Assistant, both of who have worked with us for 10+ years - we are very proud to have such long-term professional and nurturing Educators.
