Cannon Hill Community Kindergarten

My family and I highly recommend Cannon Hill Kindy. It has been a wonderful year for my son who has flourished in so many ways since beginning the program in January 2021. The welcoming environment is the perfect stepping stone to Prep with a consistent routine, class size, and teachers, which is very important when transitioning into the Prep year. The teaching staff have been amazing and keep parents updated each afternoon with what the children have been learning and enjoying at Kindy. At the end of each term the children bring home their Kindy portfolios so we can look through photos and memories from the term which is just so lovely. Cannon Hill Kindy offer more than a standard Kindy program with many extra-curricular activities throughout the year which the children love. If you're in the local area and considering a Community Kindergarten you won't be disappointed with Cannon Hill!

Cannon Hill Kindy has been the most amazing transition from being at home full time to the beginnings of our daughters schooling journey. The teaches, both Rhonda and Julie are warm, caring and loving. Its like a home away from home, where the kids get to do ALL of the fun stuff (like painting and all the crafts) that mums just don't feel like cleaning up sometimes. The kids are offered fun and educational additions to the kindy curriculum including visits from Zoo staff and creatures, adventures to the park to see the local eco-systems, dentist visits, and also a number of optional pre-prep screening programs (vision, audiologists etc). Our daughter bounces out of bed each Kindy morning busting to get there as fast as we possibly can. She has made some beautiful, no doubt life long friends, as have I as her mum. I could not recommend Cannon Hill Kindy enough to anyone in the area that is looking for a soft and comforting transition into the school world.
