Buddies Early Learning Centre

I would strongly caution families against enrolling their child here.<br><br>Our experience had a lasting negative impact on our child, and it took a long time to rebuild their confidence afterwards. I genuinely wish we had left sooner.<br><br>The centre often felt chaotic, noisy and overwhelming, with a small classroom and small outdoor yard. I completely support play-based learning, but in our experience there was far too much “play, play, play” and very limited intentional teaching or meaningful school-readiness preparation.<br><br>Staff turnover was also extremely concerning. Educators would simply disappear with little or no explanation, and new teachers would suddenly appear without any proper introduction to families. For young children who rely on consistency, relationships and routine, this lack of stability was unsettling.<br><br>The owners just care about money, and the community perception, rather than genuine care for each individual child in their centre.<br><br>Our child stayed until we went to prep and I noticed a huge difference when they started in a different environment. This was particularly telling. We also notice a big difference between them and other kids at school academically.<br><br>Overall, we did not experience the stable, nurturing, educationally focused environment we expected from a kindergarten. Between the constant staff changes, chaotic environment, limited school preparation and poor handling of concerns, I would not recommend this centre.
