About Bright Steps Academy Beresfield

Welcome to Bright Steps Academy Beresfield!

Our Beresfield childcare centre is a new purpose-built 86-place early learning centre for children aged six weeks to six years. The centre is conveniently located at 11 Lenox St, Beresfield NSW 2322 in close proximity to Beresfield Pool and across from Beresfield Bowling Club.

Bright Steps Academy Beresfield is a fully-catered childcare service that provides nutritious meals, nappies, wipes, bedding, hats, sunscreen, and water bottles for the convenience of families. The centre operates extended long day care hours from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm on Monday to Friday.

We offer our innovative Bright Curriculum for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers that is based on the Early Years Learning Framework. Our goals are to nurture children’s curiosity, competence, and confidence as the foundations for life-long learning.

Our Beresfield early learning centre features three well-resourced classrooms and two adventurous outdoor play areas. Each learning space offers designated learning stations designed to support meaningful learning opportunities through exploration and play.

I was lucky enough to gain employment at Bright Steps Academy during the building process and have been part of the education team since opening. I have worked for other services in the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie area since 2009 and can honestly say that I have never had the support or opportunities that have been presented to me since starting my employment with the Bright Steps Team. I have recently gone onto maternity leave and can’t wait to bring my own little person to the service and watch him grow and learn knowing that he’s supported by an early education centre that has a philosophy so similar to my own. I would 100% recommend you look at the service both as a parent or as an educator (or if you’re lucky like I am, as both).
