Welcome to Bluebird Early Education Cardiff!
Welcome to Bluebird Cardiff, where children are more than just children; they are leaders in their own learning. They are encouraged to make informed decisions and to maintain a strong connection to their community.
Our purpose-built facility, located in the heart of Cardiff, boasts a variety of incredible features as well as beautiful, inviting play areas. We draw inspiration from the well-known Reggio Emilia approach, ensuring that our Studio spaces promote creativity and curiosity.
Our curriculum is child-led, which means that children are free to explore and learn through nature-based experiences alongside a planned curriculum, specific to each child’s needs and abilities.
We value family input and actively seek feedback to help individualise each child’s education and outcomes. Bluebird Cardiff values risky and courageous play, encouraging children to take risks and learn from their experiences.
Our Service places a strong emphasis on community. We believe in the power of connections, which is why we interact with the local community, and enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds our Service. By immersing children in their community, we foster a sense of belonging and teach them to appreciate their surroundings.
Our on-site kitchen is more than just a place to prepare meals; it is also a space where children can actively participate in the cooking process. This not only teaches them valuable skills, but it also provides them a sense of pride and independence. Our menus cater to a variety of cultures and dietary requirements, ensuring that each child’s nutritional needs are met.

This place is absolutely beautiful, the actual look of the centre is just amazing. Which of course only comes second to the amazing staff and care for the children. The daily activities always look like so much fun and they do messy things that I wouldn’t want to clean up at home that the kids seem to enjoy. Lots of love for this place, making the transition back to work easier.

We absolutely love Bluebird Early Education at Cardiff! From the moment we did our first tour of the centre, we got a great nuturing vibe, the rooms were magical, the outside play area was so inviting, and the kids were having so much fun with messy play. Our baby has transitioned so well into care, with caring, fun and loving educators who truly value what they do. We have never had any concerns or issues with the centre and we still get that great, nuturing vibe everytime we come in. The centre is well run, the facilities are high quality and of course the staff truly make it an amazing place for our baby to learn and have fun. The centre support the community with various outdoor excursions and fundraisers which is another big tick for us. We are so thankful we made the right choice with Bluebird Early Education at Cardiff.

Highly recommend! I have had nothing but a great experience, the educators are super creative, attentive, the centre is clean and inviting. I couldn’t have picked a better place for my little one to go she has been thriving!

As our first transition into Daycare/Child education, the team at Bluebird have been a wonderful support my little one and our family. The team have showed genuine care and compassion on that hard days and our little one is really coming into their own. The facility is wonderful, well maintained with lots of space and activities. I love that they focus on play based learning and getting messy! All inclusive (nappies, food, sunscreen, etc) is a huge bonus.
