At Blue Gum Cottage, children are at the heart of everything we do. Their voices guide our program as we nurture confident, capable learners. Catering to children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, our community-based centre fosters strong partnerships with families to support a holistic, inclusive approach to early childhood education. Our curriculum focuses on real-life skills, with weekly excursions such as food shopping, beach and bush kindy, and community walks. In a safe, home-like environment, our qualified educators foster curiosity, creativity, independence, and meaningful connections, helping every child grow, learn, and thrive.

My son attended Blue Gum for the past year and we have loved the centre. We always felt he was genuinely loved by the educators and they went above and beyond to develop fun and engaging activities each day. It is a small, community run centre, so there is a real emphasis on knowing and supporting every child, without profit margins guiding the decision making. It is with a heavy heart that we are moving our son due to moving houses. Thank you so much for everything to Louise, Ariane, Katie, Natalia and all the team!
