My children attended this daycare for about roughly 6 months. USED UP BOTH OFF ALL THERE SICK DAYS. Due to massive infection control issues. I had one or the other child home once a week. Strained me to work. Close the centre regularly with not even 48 hours notice due to not enough staff. Got spoken to about personal issues infront of anyone. Was never taken somewhere private. The supply of nappies 6 per day yet I seemed to be buying more due to them been used on other children and most likely they got charged for it but I bought them. 🥲 I know this because my children were sick a lot and weren’t at daycare to use them. Took my children off bottles because she felt like it. Didn’t ask the mother. Not even the leaders that did that. When short staff you have cert 111 running the rooms or you just don’t have enough staff for numbers in the room. Dunno anymore. Wasn’t going to leave a review but I guess I seen a post of Bloomings earlier today with the centre not a surprised is closed with a list of infectious diseases. - whooping cough, gastro, COVID, hand foot mouth all in one week cases have been confirmed. . That’s extreme. My child had a rash I sent her to daycare with a certificate explaining what it was and it wasnt affecting her- as they didn’t like her at daycare because she had the rash they rang the ambulance even know she had a certificate saying she’s fine. Told me she wasn’t breathing and my partner and I rushed to be by her side, the ambulance arrived at the same time as us and they confirmed she was absolutely fine and my partner I think that’s so traumatic for us to go through for all the staff that day to treat us like we did something wrong even know we have a certificate. The ambulance asked if we wanted to still take her to the hospital we did she was able to go home in the first 30 mins of being there. Just to prove a point. Just felt like they didn’t want her there that day and even the ambulance said the same thing she was breathing fine and laughing at dad when we arrived. So yep we copped also an ambulance bill. Half of these reviews are educators that work for Bloomings.
