About Bira Bira Early Learning Centre

At Bira Bira Early Learning Centre, we believe that children have many different ways of living, learning and knowing. Our program takes inspiration from the Educational Project of Reggio Emilia, and we recognise children as protagonists of their knowledge. We believe they learn through many modes of expression, communication and understanding.

We foster warm and responsive relationships between children and educators to support each child’s sense of identity and wellbeing. We accept and embrace diversity and value inclusion, and we recognise and respect Aboriginal cultures and their unique place in the heritage and future of our country.

Our program lays the foundation for children to become responsible citizens of the world by supporting them to become environmentally responsible and to show respect and empathy for the world around them. Our program will teach children to learn about growing foods, conservation and harvesting and introduce a sustainable approach to recycling.

Our ELC staff embrace excellence, contemporary practices and foster collaboration between and with children, families and colleagues. We are committed to providing an environment and culture of lifelong learning where children can maximise their full potential.

Excellent daycare centre, my son loved his time at Bira Bira, all the staff were amazing, they went above and beyond, from the helpful administrative assistant, the wonderful educators and lovely centre director our son was in the best hands. We really appreciated all the support and the great time while he was doing his 4yo kinder. Their program was very well planned and the fact they care about each individual child was evident through daily communication. Highly recommend this centre, we wished we had enrolled him at Bira Bira sooner.

Nothing less than AMAZING centre - all the staff and educators have a genuine passion for what they do and care for each individual child. I've watched my two daughters grow and thrive under the centre's care and truly know they are doted on. The communication from staff on each of my children is exceptional - I receive daily photos, videos and summaries telling me what activities their room has done, what they've eaten and how much etc. The centre itself is quite remarkable. Everything from the large slide in the middle of the centre, to the sandpits, bamboo "forest" and kitchen. And everything is always in pristine condition. My 5 yo just embarked on Primary School but still loves dropping off/picking up my 3yo purely so she can see her former educators. From my experience - you won't regret sending your child/ren here.
