About Billy Button Children's Centre
Billy Button Children’s Centre is a large community-focused early learning and care service for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old. This state of the art, multi level facility offers high-quality education and care, as well as maternal and child health services.
This architecturally designed, carefully planned centre engages the environment as the third teacher, with an abundance of space for children to explore and participate in inquiry based learning. Educators support children to extend their ideas, thinking and learning through open ended play and intentional teaching practices.
Billy Button boasts a large, natural outdoor play area that invites curiosity with opportunities to develop children’s cognitive and physical capabilities. The balcony views of the city allow for community connections, as the children use this landmark to wave to those parents working in the city.
Situated next to Footscray City Primary School, the service is just 6 minutes away from the centre of Melbourne. Open from 7am to 6pm, Billy Button Children’s Centre has been built to ensure that your child’s education and care is of the highest level.
