Belrose Kindergarten

We honestly cannot speak highly enough of Belrose Kindergarten.<br><br>We have four children, and over the past 10 years we have trusted Belrose Kindergarten with all four of them. Our youngest two, aged 2½ and 1, currently attend, and after a decade of experience with the centre, we can genuinely say that it is an absolute standout amongst childcare centres.<br><br>What makes Belrose Kindergarten so special is the people. The educators are incredibly warm, nurturing and genuinely engaged with the children. There is a real sense that they know and care about each child as an individual. Our children are welcomed so enthusiastically each morning and consistently come home happy, excited and full of stories about their day. It truly feels less like a childcare centre and more like an extension of family.<br><br>Something else that speaks volumes about this centre is the extraordinary staff retention. Many of the educators have been there for around a decade or even longer, and several of them have cared for more than one of our children over the years. In an industry where staff turnover can be incredibly high, we think this is a true rarity and says so much about the culture of the centre. The educators work cohesively as a team, genuinely care about the centre and clearly take enormous pride in it.<br><br>That care is reflected in the environment as well. The centre is consistently clean and well looked after, with excellent hygiene standards. There is a feeling of stability, familiarity and genuine ownership amongst the team that is difficult to replicate when staff are constantly changing. As parents, there is something incredibly reassuring about leaving your children with educators you have known and trusted for years.<br><br>The amount of thought, energy and heart the educators put into the children’s days is remarkable. There are always activities, experiences and opportunities for them to play, explore, create and learn, but more importantly, the educators are actually there alongside them — talking to them, encouraging them, laughing with them and making their days fun.<br><br>We have visited other centres that may look impressive on paper, or place a lot of emphasis on ratings, facilities and how they present themselves, but for us the most important measure of a childcare centre is what actually happens between the educators and the children every day. That is where Belrose Kindergarten shines.<br><br>It may not make a big song and dance about being “Exceeding” under the formal rating system, but if warmth, engagement, genuine care and happy children were the measure, it would exceed every standard that matters to us. The educators seem to pour their energy into the children rather than into appearances, and it shows.<br><br>There is also a wonderful sense of leadership and consistency throughout the centre. The educators don’t simply supervise the children — they engage with them. They are present, enthusiastic and affectionate, and there is a warmth throughout the centre that you notice the moment you walk through the door.<br><br>After four children and 10 years, there is no greater endorsement we could give than saying that we have continued to choose Belrose Kindergarten again and again for the people most precious to us.<br><br>We feel incredibly fortunate to have found this centre and enormously grateful to the educators, past and present, who have cared for our children over the years.
