Child at centre for 1 year. If there was a 0 or negative star, I would have given it. Where do I start? Poor communication between staff as messages don't get passed on when you notify an educator, nor do they read your messages when you send them on the app (as per their direction, so all staff are aware of your request). Poor communication between centre and parents. Who emails the family at 4pm the day before an event. I.e. a day before a dress up day they email you advising you that "tomorrow is dress in your favourite super hero day" or whatever it may be. All the good staff leave this place. The ones that are still there that I had come across are liars, rude, lazy, mishandle kids and honestly, fake. Very high turnover of staff. Like I said, all the good ones leave. Picked my child up around lunchtime one day and my child was eating plain rice but in the app they've put down as eating the full meal whatever was on the menu that day. Had expressed numerous times on the wake up time my kid will have to be up by otherwise bedtime would be very late. They ignored this request saying they haven't been told by the morning staff. Mind you I've also sent this request via the app as directed by the staff. They let kids sleep til 3.30-4pm rather than 2-2.30pm as preferred by the parents so we don't have to tackle late bedtime but staff wants to have less kids to look after so they let the kids sleep for as long as they like. I have seen kids sleep at 4.30pm when I go to pick up my child. Kept asking me the reason for my kid's dietary requirements only to find out later on that if it's not life or death and it's just what we prefer then they actually don't follow it. Which is wrong on all level. One day when I went to pick my child up, one of the educators came from around the corner dragging my child up by the arm, (just below the underarm), I was so shocked I was speechless. Plus I was 1 week pp and didn't challenge it. Regretting it to this day because I asked my child if that was the first time an educator lifted the arm like that, response was no, no first time. I wonder how they speak to the kids if they are like that with them physically. I would get numerous phone calls about an incident but have never signed an incident report upon pick up because the "afternoon" staff had no idea and don't know what to do nor where to look. The staff are so friendly to your face and in front of other parents but the minute no parents are in sight, they are actually awful to the kids, the way they talk to them is pretty rude. Not once they took the kids out on an excursion but they sell it to you when you sign up. The minute you tell them that your kid will no longer attend the centre, they treat you differently. There's so many more negative things to go on but I just don't have the energy to go on anymore and just thankful that my child is out of the centre and is thriving in a new centre.

I’ve had an amazing experience with Aspire Childcare Deanside. The team there is exceptional, and it’s clear they care deeply about the children’s development and well-being. A special shoutout to Manjit Mam, who is an incredible educator. She is patient, nurturing, and truly connects with the children, making learning fun and engaging. My child has thrived under her care! Additionally, Gurleen in the management team has been so helpful and supportive throughout our journey. She’s always approachable, responsive, and ensures everything runs smoothly. It’s a wonderful environment, and I’m so grateful to have found such a caring team for my child. Highly recommend Aspire Childcare Deanside!
