About Ashfield Little Bunnies Day Care Centre

Our aim at this service is to provide the possibility of a warm, fun and caring atmosphere where children can belong and be secure. We take an active role in caring for the environment. Our role is to be a model in the community in caring for the environment and contributing to a sustainable future (Being Green). The possibility of developing a sense of trust and partnership between parents, children and the educators that may evolve through being able to communicate various needs and knowing that these needs will be respected. All children and educators are given equal opportunities regardless of their gender, cultural diversity and socio-economic background.

It is important to develop a consistency between childcare practices at home and those at our centre to enhance the children’s general feeling of security within themselves and to develop strong relationships with the adults in our centre. We follow the Early Years Learning Framework to support and enhance young children’s learning. 'Belonging, Being and Becoming' is a key document for our educators to help develop quality in our early childhood setting. We follow the principles, practice and learning outcomes that are essential to support and enhance children's learning from ten months to five 5 years of age, and also help support transition to school. Every educator at our service has a philosophy that they follow in their teaching so that the children benefit a lot due to the abundance of their personal philosophies. The possibility of growth and development of each child is monitored closely in our service. We aim to provide all children with the possibility of becoming an effective learner through creating an environment that is challenging, wonder and stimulating.

Educators discover the dynamic space where children and adults share responsibility for learning (Intentional Teaching), together with either a child-initiated, or adult-directed beliefs. We reflect about principles and practices as well as broadening thinking about appropriate early curriculum content and related teaching strategies. Generally, our aim is to assist your children to develop all the skills necessary for now and in later years. Children learn from the possibility of play, creative experiences such as painting, collage, music, stories and language combined with free-play both indoors and outdoors, which encourages the social, physical and thinking skills.

Reviews for Ashfield Little Bunnies Day Care Centre

I would highly recommend this child care to every parents. My child attended this child care for only 7 months , but has shown excellent improvement in terms of social skills, communication and also readiness to school. "Olive" the director of this child care is a women of her words and she doesn't deal kids as business. Every child has been given good attention, love, education and nurtured for their life ahead. The boundary of day care is small but not the heart of the educators. As kids are dealt with so much love and care they want to go everyday even on weekends. (Parents : Get ready to empty your pockets ;) ) If you are looking for a caring environment for your kids then this is the place. Olive and her perfect team just make your kid and you feel home. I was lucky to find this day care. I would recommend to everyone. :)
