Being in the zone, based on reviews i had read, i didnt want to send my child there but had to. My child was the see another kid in a playground run up to them hug and say do you want to play. So excited to start, i saw a happy little girl, go to introverted, what would happen is i would drop her off on her 2.5 days per week, and leave, then slowly i would end up staying for an hour because she didnt want me to leave. What was happening was she was being kicked, have sand thrown in her face, pushed, told not to play. Slowly slowly i saw bruises. I spoke to the staff time and time again, to be told dont take your child out ( they lose funding) and they wouldnt speak to the parents of the two girls who were abusing my child daily. Instead im told how we get them to sort out their differences is to have them sit togeter and talk it out....really 4 year olds, one the aggressor opposite the one getting bullied and theyll sort it out. Next i took it upon myself to talk to one of the two mums who then turned on the water works, she told me she knew something was going on with her daughter but didnt want to deal with it. So the waterworks would start shed get called in to office to soothe her feelings meanwhile my child gets nothing. This went on and on, Sally told me she wouldnt talk to the other girls parent unless she saw her child throwing sand in my childs face. The things happening to my child were kicked from above knee to ankle while on swing bruising both legs all over to get her off swing. Sand tipped on top of head and thrown in her eyes. Instead of protecting and supervising my child more they did nothing, over and over. Ida there one day overheard me trying to talk to one of the mothers came over said i couldnt talk there, all children were inside..so i said where can we talk outside the gate off the premises, then all of a sudden like she exploded she kept saying you cant talk about this here, and panicked like ive never seen, so unnecessary and it seemed like she was making the situation all about herself and how she couldnt handle it, In the end with all the bullying and unsupervision that went on there i moved her to plympton park kindy where she was mistreated there too, see my review on that kindy. They dont do anything about bullying and it goes on to school. The only time you can be guaranteed without a doubt your children are being supervised is at dropoff and pickup when the staff put on a show that theyre all around.
