Ascot Childcare and Kindy

Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing.

Our main concern was the lack of engagement from the educators. At morning drop-off, we repeatedly found educators sitting down with very little interaction. There were times when we left our son crying and no educator came over to welcome him. As parents, this was very difficult to see.

At pick-up, we also found him by himself on several occasions with little activity or interaction, and he rarely seemed happy….

Communication through Storypark was limited, often just photos (not everyday) with little information about his day or what he was learning. We also specifically requested that he use his own water bottle, but repeatedly found it seemingly untouched.

The good part is that the centre manager was helpful and made enrolment easy, which we appreciated.

We were already considering changing centres because the location was becoming less practical for our work and family commitments. However, these experiences ultimately reinforced our decision to leave.
