Arwon’s Little Angels Childcare is amazing! The staff are so kind and caring, and our child has grown so much since starting here. It’s a warm, safe, and fun environment. We couldn’t be happier and highly recommend it to other families!

I strongly recommend avoiding this childcare centre. My experience has been deeply disappointing and concerning. Which is a shame because when we started there back in 2022 it was great. First and foremost, the lack of adequate handover is alarming, leaving me unsure of my child’s daily activities and progress. We went from daily updates when we began to one update in two months by the time we were able to move centres which was barely a few sentences and a handful of group photos. Even more distressing is their failure to address incidents where my child has been injured – such negligence is simply unacceptable, often incidents are not seen or cameras are not working. Small children who are only just learning to walk are left to navigate the outdoor space with children much older running around. Additionally, there seems to be no meaningful effort to manage disruptive and violent children, creating an unsafe and chaotic environment for everyone, despite repeated verbal and written concerns being lodged with staff and management. The centre itself has issues with hygiene, as there is often an unpleasant smell of urine lingering throughout the older kids room. Only a single toilet accessible to children outside which isn’t always open forcing children seek an educator if they need to go. Soiled clothes are left in a plastic tub for parents to rummage through despite being asked to purchase and provide a wet bag. To add to the frustration, the childcare fees are one of the highest in the area, making the poor quality of care and lack of inclusions even harder to justify. Especially in the preschool room where the program is lacking since the longtime ECT left. Staff turnover is high, which impacts the continuity of care and left my child in an unsettling situation. On top of this, the owner is not only unprofessional and rude but also notorious for removing negative reviews rather than addressing concerns. This centre does not uphold the standards parents should expect, and I cannot recommend it to anyone seeking quality, reliable childcare.

My child attended Arwons for three years. While our experience started off positive, over time the quality of care and management declined significantly, which ultimately led me—and several other families—to transition to a different centre. One of the most concerning issues was the extremely high staff turnover. It was not uncommon to be asked to keep our child at home due to ongoing staff shortages. Communication around incidents was inconsistent, and there were multiple occasions where we received incident reports with little to no explanation of what had occurred. When questioned, we were often told that the security cameras were not functioning or the footage was unavailable. The general cleanliness and hygiene standards also became a major concern. The centre frequently had an unpleasant odor, and soiled children's clothing was placed in an unsanitary communal bin that parents had to sift through to find their child's items. Over the three years, I only saw the owner once—and that was during our final week, coinciding with what appeared to be a wider crisis involving staffing and parent dissatisfaction. Attempts to raise concerns were often met with defensiveness, and I've observed that critical reviews tend to be removed rather than addressed. That said, I do want to acknowledge that a handful of the educators were genuinely caring, professional, and went above and beyond for the children. Unfortunately, they seem to be working in an environment that doesn't fully support or value their efforts. If I were seeing Arwons for the first time today, I would not choose to send my child there.
