Once upon a time, we were nervous, clueless parents, now we excitedly drop off our daughter because we know she is in safe hands while we're at work. I highly recommend this centre. I signed up on the waitlist while I was pregnant and fortunate enough to get a spot when my daughter was 1. She is now 2, going on 3. She is definitely thriving here, always surprising me with new things she has learnt at ARKIE. Pros: ● The teachers here, they're honestly really kind, intelligent, caring and passionate educators. During drop off or pick up I always see them engaging with the kids in activities or they're happy to come up to me and give feedback about my daughter's day. ● Consistency of the same staff. ● Very clean. ● Healthy meals that my kid actually eats! They have vegetarian alternatives. ● Opens at 6.30am! Yay for shift workers, tradies and early bird workers. ● Closure only during public holidays and weekends, life saver for me as a shift worker. ● Director is approachable, very responsive via emails and phone calls answered. ● Transparency when there is any kind of illness in the centre and strict sick policy which I appreciate. ● After a 3 day potty training stint at home, the staff absolutely nailed it with encouraging my daughter to keep it up! ● The effort they put into fun events e.g. grandparents day, Easter, Christmas Cons: ● Bit of a drive to get there through traffic, but that's a me problem. I chose the right centre that happens to be further away.
