Applecross Pre Kindy

The whole place is very under resourced and what resourcesthey have are old, out of date, broken, missingmajorparts. There is no education program to followed and no child data collected to plan for future learning. Children get plenty of unstructured free play but no guided play and learning. Children with disabilities or learning difficulties are labelled as difficult or badly behaved and left to run wild instead of being cared for in an appropriate manner. Staff are very pleasant and friendly but lack any real knowledge and experience in early childhood development and learning.

Both my kids are attending Applecross Pre-kindy and love it. They both settled in so quickly and I think that’s a testament to the wonderful educators and staff. My kids love their teachers and look forward to their pre-k days. There’s always cooking, outdoor exploring and even chickens!! I love receiving the updates and photos about all the interesting and age appropriate learning activities they do. I was looking for somewhere my children can learn, grow and be stimulated - not just be ‘supervised’ and Applecross Pre-kindy is great. Highly recommend.
