Anderson Road Child Care Centre

I had the wonderful opportunity to complete my placement at Anderson Road Childcare with the 3–5-year-old group, and it has been one of the most valuable learning experiences in my journey as an early childhood educator. The environment at the centre was warm, welcoming, and highly supportive. I am so grateful to Nadine and Emily for their guidance, support, and constant motivation throughout my placement. A special thanks to Van, whose guidance and support helped me grow professionally. I learned how to communicate effectively with children, build trusting relationships, and design engaging learning experiences based on their interests. I also gained practical skills in supporting children's development and helping them transition smoothly throughout the day. Overall, I felt valued, respected, and genuinely supported by the entire team. Thank you to all the educators and staff❤️ And I must say, I absolutely loved the newly decorated kinder room—it feels so welcoming and magical, like the room invites the children in all by itself! ❤️❤️

I had a really great experience during my placement at Anderson Road Childcare Centre. It was honestly one of the most valuable learning opportunities I’ve had so far in early childhood education. From the very beginning, everyone was so welcoming and kind. I always felt supported and encouraged to ask questions and try new things. A big thank you to Emily, who was so patient and generous—she shared her knowledge with me and always took the time to explain things clearly. I learned a lot just by watching how she interacted with the children with so much care and respect. I’m also really thankful to Nedine for creating such a warm and professional environment. The centre is well-organised and calm, and what impressed me most was how deeply everyone cared about the children—not just their learning, but also their emotions, interests, and wellbeing. Every moment showed genuine love, patience, and a strong understanding of each child as an individual. Throughout my placement, I learned so much—how to support children through play, observe their needs, and build trusting relationships. Each day brought something new, and I felt myself growing with every experience. Thank you again to everyone at Anderson Road. It was a beautiful place to learn, and I truly hope I’ll have the chance to return in the future.
