Free Kinder:
Free Kinder is a Victorian Government initiative designed to provide all eligible 3-year-old and 4-year-old children access to high-quality kindergarten programs at no cost. We are proud to offer Free Kinder as part of our sessional kindergarten program.

I recently completed my student placement at Anderson Road Childcare Centre in the 0–2 years room, and it was an exceptional experience. From the very beginning, the centre provided me with a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment where I could truly learn, grow, and put my theory into practice. I would like to sincerely thank the amazing educators Thu, Van, Maklet, Jesvir, Zain, Jessica, and Khairia for their guidance, patience, and encouragement throughout my placement. Their dedication to the children and to mentoring students made a huge difference in my professional development. A special thank you also to Emily, the educational lead, for her insightful leadership, and to Nedine, the centre manager, for fostering such a supportive and nurturing culture within the centre. I am especially grateful that the team not only supported my learning but also respected my personal needs by providing me with a safe space to pray, which reflects their genuine commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and cultural awareness. Anderson Road Childcare Centre is much more than a childcare service , it is a community built on respect, belonging, and high-quality education. I leave my placement feeling inspired, grateful, and confident, and I would highly recommend this centre to both families and future students seeking a truly supportive and professional environment.

I feel truly fortunate to have completed my placement at Anderson Road Child Care Center, an experience that exceeded all my expectations. I had the wonderful opportunity to complete my placement at Anderson Road Childcare with the 3–5-year-old group, and it has been one of the most valuable learning experiences in my journey as an early childhood educator. The environment at the centre was warm, welcoming, and highly supportive. I am so grateful to Nadine and Emily for their guidance, support, and constant motivation throughout my placement. A special thanks to Van, whose guidance and support helped me grow professionally. I learned how to communicate effectively with children, build trusting relationships, and design engaging learning experiences based on their interests. I also gained practical skills in supporting children's development and helping them transition smoothly throughout the day. Overall, I felt valued, respected, and genuinely supported by the entire team. Thank you to all the educators and staff❤️ And I must say, I absolutely loved the newly decorated kinder room—it feels so welcoming and magical, like the room invites the children in all by itself! ❤️❤️
