Amber Cottage Early Learning Centre - Ambarvale

Based on my experience I do not recommend this childcare to any one, some educators are good and love what they do but some are horrible and don't care. I had my daughters injured multiple times and the educators didn't bother knowing about it or write incident reports, my daughter had temperature today when she was at the centre outdoor play area, no one from the centre bothered to ask whether the parents want the educator to give the child Panadol or call ambulance. They only called telling us to pick up my daughter and her body temp was ( 40.1 ) degrees ( it was my daughter brought it to their attention and none of them noticed it has she not alerted them). This horrible place is owned and operated by the council and they're more negligent than the educators. When a complaint is made they reply with defensive techniques instead of admitting faults and fixing them immediately and they claim they have enough educators there and sometimes children hurt each other without staff noticing, their logic is having enough educators makes it they're legally covered but they don't understand enough staff not doing enough is not logical or efficient , but when my kids hurt others they rush to write reports without hesitation. The council won't do a damn thing and it's only a business for collecting fees. I also noticed multiple educators on multiple occasions on their mobile phone during caring hours, not during their break time. Absolutely horrible place excluding few educators
