Alpha Street Pre-School

Alpha Street Preschool is a nurturing and stimulating child care centre in the heart of the Blacktown CBD. The small, 20-place preschool, helps children form close bonds as they prepare for primary school. Alpha Street welcomes children from diverse backgrounds and cater for children of all abilities.

The centre works in partnership with you and your child to strengthen their learning and development. The qualified educators motivate play-based learning, building on your child’s interests, strengths and needs. Their holistic approach to early education helps develop children’s social, emotional, physical, literacy and language skills which help shape their lifelong abilities.

They are committed to embracing children’s cultural identities and integrate multi-cultural activities for all children to experience. Educators in their centres speak many languages including Auslan (sign language) – giving children a diverse education. Australia’s Indigenous heritage is important to theme and they incorporate activities and resources to engage children in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture.

Their friendly educators encourage the children’s imagination to run wild whilst being guided by the developmental knowledge they know will combine play and learning in an individual style the children deserve.

The national Early Years Learning Framework guides their planning and recording of children’s learning. It best describes childhood as ‘a time of Belonging, Being and Becoming’ and they provide these values each and every day. They are continually listening, watching and talking to your children to ensure we are on the right track.

The natural and inviting outdoor playground gives children the chance to explore our environment and work together in social play and the indoor playroom inspires creativity in a fun learning environment.
